Description Pedro 2016-01-17 19:42:34 UTC
I have a windows 2000 SP4 DC for domain RVOLTA.
As a samba 4.3.1 member server named fileserver
I joined the domain with net ads join with no problems.
The machine account was created.

Once in a while my event log on windows DC reports event ID 5722:
Event Type:	Error
Event Source:	NETLOGON
Event Category:	None
Event ID:	5722
Date: 17-01-2016
Time: 19:12:05
User: N/A
Computer:	RVLXW2K
Description:
The session setup from the computer FILESERVER failed to authenticate. The name of the account referenced in the security database is FILESERVER$. The following error occurred:
Access is denied.

As far as I could go was that machine password account is incorrect in
the DC and the samba domain member. I already reseted the machine password, deleted and rejoined the domain, added more SPN, etc, for no avail.

I am left with no more ideas.

Anyway, apart from that everything works ok.

Thanks
Pedro Guedes
