Whenever a windows 7 user wants to enable a shared workbook in excel 2010 it opens and closes very slow. If the users save the shared workbook as an xsl file then it opens and closes very fast. Also if they open the same file on a samba 3.6.3 share it opens fast as xsl or xslx.

To reproduce the problem, just make a excel file, share the workbook and save it.
When you open the file again, it will open very slowly after you click on edit.

I tested the same file on a windows server 2008 share and there it opens as expected.

I attached the global smb.conf, shares are setup like on the samba 3.6.3

Some additional info, the server is ubuntu 14.04 LTS 64 bit.
The data is on an ext4 partition.
