Description Marc Muehlfeld 2014-06-15 17:31:43 UTC
On a Member Server or DC, where "client max protocol" isn't defined in smb.conf, testparm shows "NT1" as used default value:

# testparm -sv 2>/dev/null | grep "client max protocol"
        client max protocol = NT1

But the manpage says:

client max protocol (G)
   ...
Default: client max protocol = SMB3

Which is right?
