Description kyle 2013-10-09 16:42:00 UTC
Hi,

Posted this on launchpad a while back. Basically samba will not accept log ins after I reboot my server and the only fix I've found is to restart the nmbd service.

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/samba/+bug/1210270

Thanks in advance.

I've never seen this. If you see this only after reboots and if nmbd restart fix this, this is probably a Ubuntu related problem or a problem caused by something broken on your system. If you have any logs that show that this might actually be a Samba related problem, please post them here.

sorry for the late response. I posted the log files but am not sure how to determine if it's ubuntu or samba related.
