Hello,

I am experiencing an issue with continuous printer registration done by workstation domain members. For some reason member workstations will on every restart add additional record of same printer to the ldap, and then after few days I have a LDAP tree filled with bunch of printers which have to be manually deleted by ldap tool (I use jxplorer). 

Newly added printers (except the first one) will in name (cn) contain if I correctly remember 8 digit suffix prepended to them. That suffix is then incremented on each new printer registration.

printer pruning is currently not implemented in Samba. Let is know if someone is interested in sponsoring work on this.
