Description no (mail address dead) 2013-02-03 03:16:07 UTC
The IP of my Samba server somtimes suddenly changes (I'm not allowed to set a static one and i have to use DHCP). So my workstation loses its connection and i have to force a umount. But days after unmounting (and remounting with new IP) my iptables still report outgoing connection attempts to the old ip every second.
There are 2 cifsd processes running, but i cant kill the old one.

Is this a bug or a feature?

This is a kernel problem...
