Description Nick Couchman 2003-10-25 20:19:52 UTC
I'm fairly new to coding in general, but I'm going to try to tackle this bug.
When replicating WINS entries with an NT4 machine, wrepld crashes. The
specific case that I've seen this in is when a multihomed entry is replicated.
wrepld is able to pick up the first IP address of the multihomed entry, but
fails when going to get the 2nd IP addresses. The result is a crash and an
unreadable log file.

Note: I don't know if this technically belongs under the nmbd component
section, but since WINS replication is fairly low on the prority list, there
isn't a wrepld component section.

marking as enhancement since wrepld isn't supported under 3.0.
You should probably coordinate patches and further work on
samba-technical. Thanks.

wont fis wrepld. will roll wins replication into nmbd.
