I have a PDC Samba running in a Windows XP LAN.
File list refresh at XP machines works well while a new file is created, deleted etc.

But when I change the case of the file does not works (list refresh). Ex.:
z.txt to Z.txt

I recently upgrade Samba 3.0.23 to 3.0.26a to correct this problem: http://marc.info/?l=samba&m=117357691910221&w=2

And the new version allow me the rename, but does not refresh the file list while I do this change.
I've tried all I could to fix this, and now I think this is Samba bug.

Hi! I've verified that this is solved in current 4.6.7.
Changing the case of the filename is working fine with smbclient and Windows 7 and Samba does also send change notifications to other clients about this change.

smb: \> notify xxxxx

0004 aaaaaaaaaaaaa
