I have still the Problem with file saving Office2007 Documents on my Samba shares. I found this Bug here in Bugzilla and added the variable as documented here but this still not helps. (nt acl support  = no, profile acls = no)
When i open remote a Office2007 Document and would save it i ge the "write error" message.

Any help would be nice.

This works correctly with supported samba versions and good settings, permission modifying parameters can make this break though, but that's not a samba bug then.
