The Samba-Bugzilla – Bug 41
'add user script' not executed in appliance mode
Last modified: 2005-08-24 10:18:23 UTC
Samba 2.2 had a so-called appliance mode where you could
add a unix user on the fly with an 'add user script' when the
PDC had acknowledged the username and password AND the
user did not exist in unix
This does not work in samba 3.0 anymore.

Proposed change to make 'add user script' work again.

Testing this would be good - particuarly checking 2.2 compatability.
change in behavior from 2.2. Need to address to break away from it.
originally reported against 3.0alpha23. Bugzilla spring cleaning.
