Compiler error message:
samba/source/passdb/pdb_nds.c:781: error: `private_data_free_fn' undeclared 

The variable is really undeclared, it applies at least to 3.13,

passdb/pdb_nds.c compiled well for 3.0.11 up to 3.0.14a in every version without
any problem.

Verified with a plain Samba 3.0.14a.

Please provide more details (OS, compiler, libc version) and reopen if the bug
is still valid for you.

BTW Please use the bugzilla features like the OS and Version settings while
committing a bug report.  This will make the work with bugzilla easier and more
confortable.
