Description gerdfleischer 2005-04-19 04:39:21 UTC
I have a message command in the form /usr/bin/foo %m ...
Since 3.0.12 to 3.0.14a %m is not replaced by the netbios name but by the IP of
the sender or is empty (3.0.14a).
Prior versions worked correctly in the same environment (SUSE 9.2).
name resolve order doesn't matter.
The problem seems to be on the sender side as in the direction
3.0.11 -> e.g. 3.0.12 it works correctly.

Looks like you are correct. It is a client side issue.
I've reproduced this here.
