We are currently running Samba 3.0.12 and 3.0.5 on two seperate Solaris 8/9 systems. These Samba is using "security = server" for authetication. This works flawlessly when the access client is Win9x, W2K, and XP. However, when I tried to access this using Windows Server 2003 as the client with UNC and static mount, a "No network provider accepted the given network path." Can you one look into this and see if this is a bug or a misconfiguration. If it is a misconfig, some pointer to what is wrong? Thx, Howard
Just a quick comment: 'security=server' is STRONGLY discouraged. Can you try 'security=domain' and join the domain with 'net rpc join'? If this is not possible or does not work, what we need is a sniff of the connection attempt. Volker
