Description Mauro Colella 2019-04-04 15:44:01 UTC
Hi. Using a btrfs raid 0 on Manjaro (Arch), I get:

Apr 04 22:53:24 nas smbd[2914]: check_reduced_name: Bad access attempt: . is a symlink outside the share path
Apr 04 22:53:24 nas smbd[2914]: conn_rootdir =/run/media/nasx/Red/nasx/dev
Apr 04 22:53:24 nas smbd[2914]: resolved_name=/
Apr 04 22:53:24 nas smbd[2914]: [2019/04/04 22:53:24.350123, 5, pid=2914, effective(974, 974), real(974, 0)] ../../source3/smbd/filename.c:1334(check_name)
Apr 04 22:53:24 nas smbd[2914]: check_name: name . failed with NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED

There is of course no symlink.

*On raid 1, sorry. The disks are mirrored.
