Hi,

since any updates of Samba RSAT Tool dont create an PTR Record. When i set the hook on create PTR Record but there will no be created.

i can create them manually but normally that should work. any way to debug that?

i use SLES 12 SP1 with 4.4.5-SerNet-SuSE-31.suse132

This problem persists to this day (Samba 4.6.0). Selecting "Create associated PTR record" has no effect whatsoever. I am referring to internal DNS server.

Issue still experienced on Samba 4.11.11.

Will add more info when I update samba to latest.
