When building CTDB rpm I found that changelogs are only from Version 1.x

$ rpm -qp --changelog RPMS/x86_64/ctdb-2.5.2-1.x86_64.rpm | less
* Thu Mar 01 2012 : Version 1.13
- This is the new stable branch for modern features for ctdb.
   Main new features are performance/scaling improvements for
   concurrnet fetch and fetch_lock operations.
...

Why are they no longer included?

I saw that no linux-distribution has its changelogs for versions 2.x

Please fill it!

you might dicuss this with your distribution, samba upstream can do nothing about the RPM changelogs...
